Your Opportunity:

As an Research Scientist Intern on the Deep Learning Team, you will work closely with Data Science engineers to:

  • Improve performance of our model that is based on convolutional neural networks (CNN) & recurrent neural networks (RNN).

  • Develop NLP / semantic word models for text understanding, entity extraction & classification.

  • Work to understand image, video, and audio.

Required Qualification

  • Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision, or related technical field.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong ability with at least one of the following tools: Tensorflow, Pytorch, or a similar ML toolkit.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other researchers.

  • Demonstrate ability to follow through on experiments and deliver and effectively summarize relevant results.

  • Can effectively debug experiments, both in code and experimental framework.

  • Published at least one paper as first author in a major machine learning conference, such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.

  • Ability to lead your own research by asking good questions and formulating experiments.

  • Handle internet-scale data sets and the unique problems that they pose.
